Project Brief:

LittleStars Rugby was founded in May 2011 to fill a gap in the market for a high quality coaching and development programme for children using the skills found in rugby to develop their key skills.

In order to develop the programme further and to promote the business to a UK wide audience, the company required a rebrand to align itself with the target market and to move away from the preconception that it was a ‘local’ coaching programme confined to South Wales.

In order to carry out the rebrand process we researched current competitors and how the organisation wanted to be perceived by its customers (parents and children)  as well as investors and stakeholders (such as the franchise owners.) As part of the design work, we developed and refined the ‘Little Star’ icon which was well established and familiar to children and refreshed the logotype  and colours to form the new identity.

The new brand identity was then continued throughout all marketing literature and website.
