Brand Identity & Website Design for Mixology Brands – Marketing & PR agency

The Brief

Mixology Brands is a new marketing and PR agency with offices in London and South Wales. The company specialises in creative experiential campaigns for brands within the drink and leisure industry, with past clients including Coca-Cola and WKD. Due to the creative nature of the work they produce and the target companies they want to attract, a brief was created that required a bold and striking brand identity that made them stand out from the competition. The company also required a website that was visual in approach that would let their work do the talking.

The Result

A brand identity was created for the business that utilised strong, bold colours. The idea of the orbs merging and overlapping is in keeping with the meaning of ‘mixology’ which is a term used within the drinks industry to represent the merging of different liquids to make a cocktail – the ‘mixologist’ typically being the bartender.

Having created the logo design for the brand, we then designed a website that was in keeping with the fresh, funky and confident identity that was in place. The website was designed to be as visual as possible and not to appear to ‘wordy’. The work that Mixology produces is often very visual, such as advertising for print and product launch campaigns, so this had to be represented throughout the website.
