The WBCC was established in 2009 with the recognition of the growing trade that was taking place between the United Kingdom and Bangladesh. Currently the WBCC holds more then 200 paid subscription memberships, with this growing annually. The members combined turnover last year was estimated to be over £20 million annually just in Wales. The potential membership turnover of Welsh Bangladeshi businesses in Wales is estimated at over £3 billion and this figure is also growing as members and potential members are diversifying in different business sectors and excelling in the technology and knowledge based sectors when it comes to international investment.
“Wales Bangladesh Chamber of Commerce (WBCC) represent over 200 business throughout Wales. When it came to choosing a company that will represent & create the image and professionalism of our members, we had to make a wise decision. Which we did in the form of Gareth Waters.
During the selection process, this is one company that we found was in tune with the principles set out for us by Design Wales. They came with an open vision, listened to our needs and helped us mould our corporate image. (The Shapla flower representing Bangladesh and the Dragons tail representing Welsh identity.)
Thanks to the hard work of Gareth, our greatest compliment for our brand and its logo was given by the Prime Minister of Bangladesh during our recent Trade Mission from Wales where she commented that our logo encapsulates the trade relationship which we are trying to forge between our two nations.
WBCC fully recommend Brand Cymru and its services and can assure anyone using them that satisfaction is guaranteed.”
